Warner Bros. is exploring a reboot of “ALF” the popular series from the late 80s that remained a pop culture icon long after the series ended. Short for “Alien Life Form,” the sitcom followed the title cat-eating alien as he freeloads with the Tanner family, for four seasons and 100 episodes.
Creator Paul Fusco has spent the better part of the last quarter-century trying to get Alf back in front of cameras. It turns out Fusco may finally be getting his wish. The Hollywood Reporter has indicated that Warner Bros. Television is interested, but it’s not clear which network “ALF” may land on.
Warner Bros. says the reboot would focus on Alf returning to Earth with a new family and characters.
