Although the all-stars have yet to be confirmed, the names of some former Dancing with the Stars competitors have already hit the web. According to a report at TV Guide, it appears Mel B of the Spice Girls may be an all-star along with Sabrina Bryan, Gilles Marini, Kyle Massey and Mario Lopez.

While co-hosting Live with Kelly Ripa, Mario Lopez recently admitted to taking a call from the producers of Dancing with the Stars for the all-star season. DWTS co-host Brooke Burke also revealed that she’d love an opportunity to hit the ABC dance floor again after appearing on Season 7 of the popular dance show.

ABC entertainment president Paul Lee recently revealed his thoughts about some of the former DWTS competitors.

“We can’t talk about the casting yet,” Lee told Hollywood Reporter, “but I’d love to see some of the fan favourite from the last seasons come back.”

Although New Directions somehow won the Nationals in Glee (which was a travesty, Vocal Adrenaline were so much better), it was Lindsay Lohan’s time to shine as herself alongside Perez Hilton and Rex Lee as the judges. How Lohan, Hilton and Lee were qualified to judge a singing competition is irrelevant, so don’t bother asking.

On Tuesday night’s Glee, fans got the expected self deprecating jabs as Hilton and Lilo traded barbs about each other. However, Lohan wasn’t bad at all and delivered what was expected of her, no more and no less.

Despite the guest casting of Lindsay Lohan, Glee took a back seat in the ratings behind the other networks with only 6 million viewers to give Fox a fourth place finish in total viewers for the 9 p.m. time-slot.

Although the first teaser trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, aka Anchorman 2, will be attached to Wednesday’s premiere of The Dictator, Paramount chose to release the poster for the Anchorman sequel first before the actual footage.

In Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Will Ferrell returns to the role of news anchor Ron Burgundy, with Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner rounding out the sequel cast.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues is written and directed by Adam McKay.

Fans of Justin Bieber will see a more mature side of the young singer in a new photo shoot Bieber recently shot for the June 2012 issue of GQ magazine.

In the new June issue of GQ, Justin Bieber posed for a photo shoot and gave an in-depth interview in which the young Canadian singer opened up about his lifestyle, how he’s grown, partying, his friendship with Kim Kardashian, his music and his ability to trust people.

Also in the GQ interview, the 18-year old Justin Bieber admitted that he likes to be in control of his life as he gets older.

“I like to be in control of myself,” said Bieber in the GQ interview. “I mean, I’ve had a beer before, but I never get out of control.”

With his new single, “Boyfriend,” already on the market and his upcoming album out next month, Justin Bieber will also be in the June issue of GQ.

Forbes released their new Celebrity 100 list with Jennifer Lopez as the number one star. Lopez was given the top Forbes spot on the list after bouncing back from her split from Marc Anthony, signing on to American Idol for a second season, inking multi-million dollar endorsement deals with L’Oreal and Gillette, high earnings from her clothing and fragrance lines, and a combined 18 million fans on Twitter and Facebook.

Behind Jennifer Lopez on the Forbes Celebrity 100, Oprah Winfrey came in second, Justin Bieber in third, Rihanna fourth, and Lady Gaga placed fifth to round out the top five.

On Tuesday of this week, Sony Pictures announced that Aaron Sorkin will write and direct a film on the life of Apple founder Steve Jobs based on the Jobs biography by author Walter Isaacson. Sorkin, creator of The West Wing and writer of The Social Network, was a friend of Steve Jobs and was the only person Sony wanted for the project.

Sony Pictures Entertainment co-president, Amy Pascal, shared her thoughts on the hiring of Aaron Sorkin this week in a public announcement.

“There is no writer working in Hollywood today,” said Pascal, “who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we’re confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing.”

The new Steve Jobs Sony film doesn’t have a title or scheduled release date.

When America’s Got Talent resumed auditions on Tuesday night in San Francisco, a once homeless street dancer named Turf twisted and contorted his way to the big stage. After learning his craft of the streets of San Francisco, Turf proved that he was ready to take his game to the stage.

In one of the most emotional performances of the America’s Got Talent season, Turf left a lasting impression on everyone, including AGT judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel before thanking the live crowd for their standing ovation.

This season on The Voice, winner Jermaine Paul came out of the background shadows of Alicia Keys to find himself and start his own career as a solo artist.

After becoming the Season 2 winner of The Voice last week, Jermaine Paul is looking ahead to a new solo career after honing his skills as a back-up singer for Alicia Keys. When The Deadbolt caught up with Jermaine on Tuesday, a week after winning The Voice, Jermaine admitted to reporters that he already has plans to work with Alicia Keys on his upcoming album and also put in a request to work with OneRepublic singer/producer extraordinaire, Ryan Tedder.

Although Jermaine Paul is now about to carve out his own name in music after winning The Voice, Paul revealed to The Deadbolt that his solo endeavors began much earlier.

“I’ve been performing and trying to do my own thing for about a year and a half now, still doing background work and gigs, and things like that. Before I did the background singing, I was trying to be an artist myself but it was with a group and I was the front guy. Coming out of the back is definitely a change and a big differnce.”

When Jermaine Paul first stepped on to The Voice stage for his Blind Audition, singing “Complicated” by Avril Lavigne, fans got to see the culimination of years of experience as back-up for Alicia Keys. It was Jermaine’s powerful vocals that first turned the chair of Cee Lo Green and later Blake Shelton, who Paul ultimately chose as his coach.

As the second season of The Voice progressed, it was clear that Jermaine was a frontrunner to beat.

So, how does Jermaine Paul feel about his background experience being an asset on The Voice? As Jermaine told The Deadbolt, it was an integral part of his musical growth as an artist.

“Honestly, the background has helped me to harness my energy and hold on to my own true originality, my own feelings, and my own vulnerability. Just being out there, it felt right to get out there and sing. It feels like I belong there and it felt right. I don’t mind sharing myself with the world.”

Although many were surprised when Jermaine chose Blake Shelton to be his coach on The Voice, it was arguably the best decision Paul made all season. Given the powerful soul within Jermaine’s vocals, it’s interesting that Christina Aguilera didn’t make a play for Jermaine along with Cee Lo. And since Adam Levine won The Voice last season with Javier Colon, an equally powerful but softer singer, Adam’s loss this year was another coach’s gain.

However, after so many years as a background singer, Jermaine now gives credit to Blake for helping him find his message as a singer.

More importantly, Paul also gives credit to The Voice for affording him the opportunity to be himself as an artist.

“Blake Shelton really helped me find out exactly what I wanted to say. This show is so great for a guy like me because I’ve had to deal with so many different opinions and thoughts on what I should do and how I should sound and what I should wear. This was just 100 percent me. This was me saying this is what I want to do.

For so long I had folks telling me I should sing this type of song and I would go in to record it and I would hate the song. I would record certain songs and it would make me sick on so many levels. With this show, it gave me the platform to do exactly what I wanted and say exactly what I want to say to the world, my kids, and my wife. It really brought out the realness of this thing called artistry, called singing, and called The Voice.”

The Bachelorette made its Season 8 debut on Monday night with Emily Maynard back to find love all over again after leaving Brad Womack of The Bachelor.

On Monday night The Bachelorette moved from Hollywood to Charlotte, North Carolina to accommodate the wishes of Emily Maynard to be closer to home for the season. Although Emily didn’t find love last season on The Bachelor with Brad Womack, Maynard returned to ABC this week to meet 25 guys in the hope of finding love as The Bachelorette.

Prior to the The Bachelorette, however, host Chris Harrison revealed that the show would be drastically different than previous season. Boy, was he right.

Call me crazy, but I don’t remember The Bachelorette being this foolish. Sure The Bachelorette has always been more reality fantasy than a reflection of real life, but last night’s premiere was just downright ridiculous. And if the show had any drop of credibility left in its tank, it evaporated before our very eyes on Monday night when Emily Maynard and Chris Harrison took on what appeared to be the roles of Monty Hall and Wayne Brady, the game show hosts of Let’s Make a Deal.

When the 25 guys arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina to meet Emily, The Bachelorette turned into a prime-time game show. I mean, one guy arrived with an ostrich egg, another guy dressed up as an old lady, another arrived on a skateboard, another with a glass slipper, and one guy even touched down in a helicopter. I’m shocked that Emily got through it with a straight face as the guys tried to leave a lasting first impression.

And if you’ve ever seen an episode of Let’s Make a Deal, last night’s Bachelorette should have looked familiar since the guys tried to increase their chances of being selected by dressing up and offering items for trade.

Since when did so many guys need props to be memorable? Then again, if you need a prop to make a romantic deal, maybe The Bachelorette really is the perfect place away from Let’s Make a Deal.

But …

Just when you thought The Bachelorette couldn’t be any more embarrassing after “egg guy,” “dress up guy,” “Cinderella guy,” and “helicopter guy,” (we’ll cut skateboarder guy a break), the game show hilarity continued.

Soon Emily got to meet “fitness guy,” “wolf guy,” “name tag guy,” “DJ guy,” “bobblehead guy,” “Latin guy #1,” and “Latin guy #2″ before embracing “head injury guy,” “walk funny guy,” “I’m insecure guy,” “bad hair guy,” “I hate this suit guy,” “stiff hug guy,” “biochemist guy,” “guy with kid guy,” and “guy with six kids guy.” And just to make things really awkward, “race car guy” was thrown into the mix. Ouch! And to think that fans thought Brad Womack made for a bad season. Double ouch!

The problem with The Bachelorette is that when a guy walks onto the show with an ostrich egg and another dresses up like an old lady, it’s a game show. Actually, as much as it felt like Let’s Make a Deal, it’s also felt like The Gong Show. But that’s a separate comparison altogether since Emily gongs out the guys with roses at the end of the show.

So, now that the show is back for another season, do you want what’s behind The Bachelorette door #8, or what’s inside the ostrich egg?

America’s Got Talent made its Season 7 debut on Monday night with Howard Stern as a new judge alongside Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel. During the audition process, the America’s Got Talent judges and live crowd were blown away by the final performance of the show when street performers Shanice and Maurice hit the AGT stage to sing “You’ve Got a Friend.”

Shanice, along with her father Maurice, gave it her all on America’s Got Talent to make her dream come true of singing in front of a live audience. After a standing ovation from the AGT judges and the crowd, Shanice and Maurice were put through to Las Vegas as one of the top acts to watch on America’s Got Talent this season.

As Howard Stern revealed after hearing Shanice and Maurice sing “You’ve Got a Friend,” their version was perfection.
