Although
Twilight and New Moon have reignited interest
in vampires, the next vampire project on the cinematic
horizon is the blood sucking actioner, Daybreakers,
starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill,
which hits theaters January 8, 2010. As a lead
up to Daybreakers, Lionsgate has a new Daybreakers
PSA TV spot, which gives vampire fans an alternative
spin on the conventional public service announcement
with a Daybreakers look at the dwindling resources
within the Daybreakers storyline, namely human
blood.

For those about to rock, Pirate Radio salutes you on November 13 when the new Focus Features music based film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Rhys Ifans, Nick Frost and Kenneth Branagh hits theaters. Ahead of the Richard Curtis directed Pirate Radio release, TheDeadbolt has dialed in a few Pirate Radio clips, which tell the story of eight rogue DJs in the 1960s who created their own pirate radio station aboard a ship in the international waters of the North Atlantic in an effort to stick it to the British government. With Pirate Radio and Philip Seymour Hoffman about to rock theaters with Love Actually director Richard Curtis behind the lens, sit back crank up the tunes and enjoy the sounds of the '60s with The Count, Quentin, Gavin, Midnight Mark, Doctor Dave and Young Carl as we flash back to the days of Pirate Radio on the high seas.

now director Werner Herzog and First Look Studios
have resurrected Bad Lieutenant into New Orleans
with Nicolas Cage, Val Kilmer, and Eva Mendes.
The original 1992 Bad Lieutenant was a hardcore
descent into dark corners of a bad cop. 17 years
later, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
looks to be as harsh and in your face as Nicolas
Cage steps into the role of a crazy rogue detective
hell bent on taking down the bad guys and scoring
drugs.

Included in the special features for Up is an unseen extra called "Dug's Special Mission", which, much like "Mater and the Ghostlight" on the Cars DVD, fills in story gaps between the events of the film. "Dug's Special Mission" showcases the events leading up to the first meeting between Carl, Russell, and Dug the dog from Up. What has all time Major League hitting champ, Pete Rose, been doing these days? As fans of Sacha Baron Cohen and Bruno get ready for Bruno to hit the runways of DVD and Blu-ray on November 17, we were sent a hilarious Bruno clip from the Blu-ray Special features of Bruno sitting down for a chat with baseball great Pete Rose. And when we say "sitting", it's not like when Pete Rose used to sit in the dugout for The Big Red Machine. The Bruno - Pete Rose clip wasn't seen in theaters and is only available on the DVD and Blu-ray, which also features an hour of other scenes not included in the theatrical Bruno release.

With the Stargate franchise still living on long after the original Stargate movie, Erick Avari can now be seen in the new Stargate 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, which hit stores on October 27. Although it's been 15 years since Erick Avari stepped onto the Stargate movie set, Avari still has fond memories of working on Stargate location so many years later. To celebrate the Blu-ray release of Stargate 15th Anniversary Edition, we went one-on-one with Erick Avari who filled us in on everything from the challenges of the Stargate desert and his favorite Stargate memory to translating his character to Stargate SG-1 and how he feels about the explosion of Indian filmmaking in North America.
