Finally, after months of sleepless nights, amidst rumors and speculation, it’s official. Despite careful dodging of engagement reports and refusing to comment on their future plans, US Weekly announced yesterday that 42 year-old Demi Moore wed her boy toy, 27 year-old Ashton Kutcher, in a private ceremony Saturday night. Surrounded by 100 of their closest family and friends, the couple tied the knot in an undisclosed Beverly Hills location. Although wedding guests are coming forward to speak of the secret ceremony, publicists for both actors are keeping quiet, so there is still a chance that we’re all just getting Punk’d.

According to US Weekly, one wedding guest is quoted as saying that the ceremony was very "last minute." A funny choice of words if you ask us, since a wedding should be anything but "last minute," and only adds fuel to the "this is the biggest prank ever pulled on Punk’d" theory.

Hollywood.com reports the couple was married in a "brief, but traditional" Jewish ceremony (both actors are said to be Kabbalists, along with Madonna and Britney Spears), which was attended by Demi’s ex-husband Bruce Willis, Demi’s Charlie’s Angels co-star Lucy Liu and Ashton’s That 70’s Show cohort Wilmer Valderrama - although there is no report on which one of the many pop tartlets whose heart’s he broken Valderrama brought as his date. No doubt many songs by ex-girlfriends Mandy Moore and Lindsay Lohan will be devoted to this fateful night soon enough.

This is Kutcher’s first marriage and comes complete with Moore’s children from her previous union with Willis: Rumer, 17; Scout, 14 and Tallulah, 11 who are said to refer to Kutcher as "MOD - My Other Dad." Senior Editor for People Magazine Jess Cagel called the Moore-Kutcher-Willis threesome, "'poster children' for divorced people who can keep the family together." Others just call it plain weird.

The couple met in 2003 just after Kutcher ended a relationship with Just Married co-star Brittany Murphy and as Moore was getting ready to make her big screen come back in Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle after taking a break from acting to raise her children full time. Both have played their cards close the vest ever since. Despite a media frenzy about the couple’s age difference and supposed hidden pregnancies, the couple continued to deny marriage rumors as late as an interview in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Although in the same piece Moore called Kutcher her "soul mate" and indicated that they looked forward to starting a family.

With their wedding out of the way, we can now fully devote ourselves to their breeding plans and start photo-shopping Moore and Kutcher hybrids.
