Rock Band track list released

Rock Band, one of the most hotly anticipated games of the holiday season, has just announced their entire track listing to the world. MTV Games and Harmonix have announced the set list for Rock Band, which will drop for PS3 and XBox 360 on November 20, 2007, and will be released on PS2 in December.
The entire track list, which consists of 45 songs, reaches all the way back to the 1960s with the Rolling Stones tune "Gimme Shelter". Paul DeGooyer, the Senior Vice President of Home Entertainment, Music and Games for MTV, was quoted by GameSutra as stating, "Our goal with Rock Band was to give players the chance to experience an amazing cross section of music from the last four decades, and our final list of tracks includes everything from emerging bands to iconic artists."
That cross section, however, includes more than one track from Rock Band's biggest competitor, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Both video games are set to be released with The Killers' "When You Were Young", The Strokes' "Reptilia", "Cherub Rock" by the Smashing Pumpkins and "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys, though Guitar Hero III hits store shelves in the first weekend of November
