Hulk Hogan Hears About Divorce From Reporter

You know your marriage is not going well when you hear that you're getting a divorce from an entertainment journalist. That is reportedly what happened to Hulk Hogan recently, who is reportedly shocked after being blindsided by his wife of 24 years, Linda Marie Bollea. E! reports that Bollea filed court documents for a petition for dissolution of her marriage to Hulk Hogan on Tuesday. The St. Petersburg Times got wind of the filing and contacted Hulk Hogan on Friday. The retired wrestler claimed that he was unaware of the development in his marital status and actually thanked the reporter for the update on his own life. We wonder what the Hogan family did for Thanksgiving that this information didn't come out in any way.

Hulk Hogan was initially stunned by the reporter's call but called back five minutes later and said, as quoted by E!, "You caught me off guard. My wife has been in California for about three weeks. Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me. I just pulled over to the side of the road for five minutes to find out what was going here."

The reporter tried to get more information about the state of the marriage out of Hulk Hogan - like why this could be happening - but the Hulkster said that it was his private business. Um, not really, if you're finding out about your divorce from a reporter. But that's got to be rough. So, we understand.

Terry Gene Bollea was married to Linda Marie in 1983, when Hulk Hogan was in his prime. The two have a pair of children - the 19-year-old Brooke Hogan and the 17-year-old Nick Hogan. The foursome starred on the VH1 hit, Hogan Knows Best, and E! reports that there was even an episode of that reality series where the two considered divorce and then reconciled. Has anyone else noticed a pattern with marriage reality shows? They don't seem to be the best way to keep a marriage together.
