Jessica Alba is Pregnant with First Child

After a busy and visible year on the big screen, actress Jessica Alba will soon be taking time away from the film world to have her first child, as People.com reports the Fantastic Four vixen is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Cash Warren. According to the report, Alba and Warren were seen at a couple of public places recently, as the celebrity couple were spotting shopping together for mattresses in L.A. and at an L.A. Lakers game on the weekend.

Although the couple met on the set of Fantastic Four, Alba and Warren have been dating intermittently for the past three years. While the news of Jessica Alba's pregnancy is making waves through the film and celebrity channels, there's still no word on how the new arrival will affect her work on upcoming projects. Alba has finished work on the sequel to Sin City, The Eye, and most recently The Love Guru, but Alba also recently revealed she was asked to appear on Broadway in David Mamet's stage translation of Speed the Plow, which, after the pregancy news, most likely won't be happening for the actress in the immediate future.

According to the People report, Alba representative Brad Cafarelli set the record straight on the pregancy, "I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer."
