Rebecca DeMornay Charged With DUI

Mischa Barton won't be the last person charged with a DUI in 2007 and there are a couple days left, but it looks like Rebecca DeMornay can take that title as she got hit with the charge on Thursday, but unlike The O.C. star's recent arrest, this charge stems from an older incident that took place around Halloween of this year. On October 30th, Rebecca DeMornay was pulled over following a traffic stop, but she wasn't charged with driving under the influence until yesterday. According to E!, who had the charges confirmed by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, Rebecca De Mornay will be arraigned on Monday on charges of DUI and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or above. Both charges are misdemeanors and the site says that Rebecca De Mornay doesn't have to appear in person to face them.

The site reports that Beverly Hills police stated that the 48-year-old star of John From Cincinnati was pulled over near Sunset Boulevard at around 10:30pm on October 30th after she committed an unspecified traffic violation. The spokesman, Lieutenant Tony Lee, said that the officers detected the odor of alcohol and they administered field sobriety tests which Rebecca De Mornay failed. The actress was taken into custody at the time and released after being cited for DUI. She reportedly blew a 0.09 blood-alcohol level, 0.01 higher than the legal limit.
