Hitting theaters in June 2008, the new Get Smart looks like it just might work given its cast. Although comedian Don Adams turned Maxwell Smart into a household name during the 1960s, it appears funny-man Steve Carell might be able to re-introduce a new generation of fans to the popular Agent 86 character. Also starring Anne Hathaway as Agent 99 and Dwayne Johnson as Agent 23, Get Smart looks to have the right recipe for success at this early stage from a distance glance.

Although Get Smart is still months away, one of our loyal readers reminded us about the recently released images from Warner Bros., which hit the net in early December. If you haven't seen the latest images, lock down the latest Get Smart pics below.

Get Smart synopsis:

"Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) is on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world domination by the evil crime syndicate known as KAOS. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief (Alan Arkin) has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has always dreamt of working in the field alongside stalwart superstar Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson). Smart is partnered instead with the lovely-but-lethal veteran Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway). Given little field experience and even less time, Smartarmed with nothing but a few spy-tech gadgets and his unbridled enthusiasmmust thwart the doomsday plans of KAOS head Siegfried (Terance Stamp)."
