Jack Black Having Second Child

It was announced today that Jack Black and his wife Tanya Haden are expecting their second child. The happy news actually was confirmed on Saturday but it's still unclear exactly when the baby for the School of Rock star is due. During a press junket on Saturday for his new film, Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind, Jack Black confirmed the happy news. He simply told reporters, "Yes, she's expecting." That was about it.

Jack Black and Tanya Haden were married in March of 2006 after eloping and they already have one son together, 19-month-old Samuel. E! reports that more details were hard to come by but that Jack Black claimed to be up for the challenge of another kid despite the warnings of his friends. He told the reporters at the junket, as quoted by E!, "I've been told that two children is three times as hard as one child, but then strangely, three children is easier than one." He claimed that he was going to take the news day by day.

Jack Black and Tanya Haden have actually known each other since high school. The 35-year-olds met and Black had a crush on the musician way back then. 20 years later, Jack Black was finally able to woo his high school sweetheart and now she's pregnant with their second child. Great story. Congratulations to the entire Black clan.

Jack Black will be next be seen in Be Kind Rewind, opening on February 22nd, and can be caught in a cameo in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, currently in theaters. Jack Black has already finished shooting voice work on Kung Fu Panda and Tropic Thunder and will go into either Ye Olde Times or Year One next, according to IMDB.
