Britney and Adnan May Have Split

The latest drama in Britney Spears' life has centered around her alleged relationship with married paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, but tabloids today are reporting that BritBit not only split from the sleazy photographer but that she has taken a restraining order out against him. In recent weeks, Britney Spears was spotted with Adnan Ghalib on a number of Starbucks runs and even a trip down to Mexico. They even supposedly went to together to buy a pregnancy test, sparking rumors that Brit might be pregnant for a third time. Now, it's all gone away. Britney Spears even claimed this weekend not to know who Adnan IS, even though we've all seen them together, even kissing in a parking lot. In her latest fake British accent, Britney told TMZ, "Do you have something to tell Adnan? I don't know who that is...I've never met him before." Sigh.

Adnan Ghalib responded to the latest weirdness, including rumors of a restraining order out against him, posting on his photo agency's website, FinalPixxx, "All I can say is I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning. The reason being that I have had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara."

But is there a restraining order? Are the two seeing each other? Are they even friends? LAPD officer Mike Lopez told OK Magazine that Britney Spears "has never filed a police report against Adnan Ghalib nor has she requested a restraining order against him." X17, a rival agency from Adnan Ghalib's, noted that the LAPD wouldn't know about a restraining order because they are issued by the courts not the LAPD. Sam Lufti claims to have seen he restraining order, but now it looks like it might have been filed back in November, when Ghalib was just an obnoxious photographer and not the nice guy who brought BritBrit coffee. The irony of Britney Spears, who always complains about the photographers who ruin her life, dating one who she had a restraining order out against just a few months ago, is unbelievable. Britney Spears is starting 2008 right where she left off in 2007, just left of crazy town.
