Pam Anderson Wants Annulment
February 27, 2008
Pamela Anderson not only doesn't want to be married to Rick Salomon any more, she wants to make it seem like it never happened. Anderson doesn't want to divorce Rick Salomon, the Baywatch beauty filed to have the marriage annulled on Friday, citing fraud as the reason for the request. For the record, fraud is a regular claim in annulments and shouldn't be taken as anything more than something filled out on the paperwork. No details of specific fraud were offered to E! or anyone else. Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon have been estranged for three months and the star of Barb Wire denied just last month that she was pregnant by Salomon. Pam originally filed for divorce on December 14th and she blamed irreconcilable differences for the failure of her third marriage.
Just days after that first filing, Anderson posted an entry on her blog that made it sound like she and Salomon were trying to work it out. We guess that didn't happen. Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon were married at the Mirage in Las Vegas on October 6th of last year, while Pam was on break between shows. She had just told Ellen DeGeneres that she was in love after they worked out a deal over a $250,000 gambling debt that the V.I.P. star had amassed, saying, "I paid off a poker debt with sexual favors, and I fell in love. It's so romantic. It's romance." This was on the heels of Anderson's latest divorce from Kid Rock and even with rumors that she might be getting back together with her first husband, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue.
Pamela Anderson wasn't the only one married before. Rick Salomon, who may be forever best-known as the other half of the Paris Hilton sex tape, was married to Elizabeth Daily and Shannon Doherty before. The second marriage was annulled in 2003. Let's see - both Anderson and Salomon were married twice, both starred in sex tapes, and the two were quickie married in Vegas after a whirlwind courtship. Is anyone surprised this didn't work out?
