Rob Lowe Employees Come to Actor's Defense

After making headlines several years ago over a controversial hotel room video tape, actor Rob Lowe now has several people coming to his defense amid sexual harassment allegations by his former nanny, Jessica Gibson. Former and current employees and associates of Rob Lowe are now stepping forward to defend the former West Wing actor after the 24 year old Jessica Gibson filed suit in a Sanata Barbara court alleging that Lowe inappropriately touched her and exposed himself several times. Adding to the complexities of the suit, Gibson also leveled harassment allegations against Rob Lowe's wife Sheryl. Although Gibson's allegations are making headlines, it appears that Lowe actually filed suit against his former nanny and two more employees in the first week of April, citing they were spreading untruths about the actor and that they were in violation of the confidentiality terms of their contracts.

Despite the alleged claims, People reports that Lowe's estate manager, Carol Andrade, came to the actor's defense in a written brief that was sent to the actor's lawyers. In the statement that People got hold of on Tuesday, Andrade revealed that Jessica Gibson never ever alerted her to any inappropriate or offensive behavior, sexual advances, or any harassment or behavior that made Gibson feel uncomfortable. Andrade goes on to claim that Jessica Gibson quit her nanny position with Lowe twice in the past year, citing she was burned out from the job as the reason for her departure. Andrade also goes on to say that Gibson returned to the job each time on good terms with the Lowe family.

People further reveals that another employee of Lowe's has also come forward in the actor's defense, Jennifer Dynof, the head of one of his companies, who reiterated what Carol Andrade said in her statement, also asserting that she had never seen Rob Lowe act inappropriately or offensively toward any woman or make sexual advances toward or disrespect any female.
