Motley Crue Kick Starting Hearts with Crue Fest

Just when you thought they were done, retired, and gone their separate ways, veteran rockers Motley Crue are back in the headlines after announcing the band will be launching their own festival similar to OzzFest for an upcoming 41-city North American tour. Dubbed Crue Fest, the roving batch of bands - which includes the almighty Crue, Buckcherry and Papa Roach plus Sixx: A.M. and the L.A. based Trapt - first take to the stage in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 1 and will bounce between the U.S. and Canada before winding down on August 31 in Pittsburgh.

After Motley Crue members gathered on Tuesday for a press conference to announce the launch of Crue Fest, the band - Niki Sixx, Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, and Mick Mars - gave the press a sampling of what to expect with a live version of their new single and title track from their upcoming June 17 album release, "Saints of Los Angeles" before launching into "Kick Start My Heart".

According to Tommy Lee, as reported by Reuters, the band is hoping the Crue Fest becomes a hit and "... somewhat of an OzzFest, and carries on for years and years and years, which would be badass, right?"

Definitely, especially if Lee has the spinning drum cage in tow.
