David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach Split Assets
April 17, 2008
In a day and age when prenuptial agreements mean more now than they ever have, the unfortunate collapse of the 16 year marriage of David Hasselhoff, 55, and former actress Pamela Bach, 44, has played itself out in the courts. On Thursday, April 17, the Hasselhoff and Bach divorce settlement found resolve, as several outlets have reported that court papers revealed "Hoff’s" ex-wife was awarded 50 percent of the former couple’s home in Encino, California worth $1 million and numerous other assets Hasselhoff and Bach shared during their marriage.
Papers were filed on Thursday, revealing David Hasselhoff will pay $25,000 per month in spousal and child support but will get to keep a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and a 2006 Mercedes-Benz while Bach will retain a 1960 Mercedes-Benz and 1999 Lincoln Navigator. The former couple will also divide their joint bank accounts and sort out other material possessions.
According to TMZ, Hasselhoff will also retain rights associated with his name, including, "... ’Hoff’ and the catchphrase, ‘Don't Hassle the Hoff’ in countries throughout the world."
David Hasselhoff has been enjoying a career renaissance in recent years, having served as a judge on the popular NBC series America’s Got Talent, which returns to air on June 17 and the recent two-hour Knight Rider movie, which NBC just announced will be coming back as a full series.
