Mike Judge Extracts Jason Bateman for Next Film

Mike Judge, creator of such hugely popular comedy favorites as Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, and Office Space, will be stepping behind the camera for the upcoming Miramax project Extract, about a plant extract owner who suffers a string of bad luck on the job and later discovers his wife is having an affair with a gigolo.

After the success of Office Space in 1999, Judge will be aiming to strike workplace gold for a third time on the big screen. As Variety reports, former Arrested Development and recent Juno actor Jason Batemen will be taking the lead in Judge’s third big screen efforts after Office Space and Idiocracy.

While Judge works on his Extract script, look for Jason Bateman in the upcoming Will Smith super-hero actioner Hancock in the coming months.
