C.S.I. Actor Gary Dourdan Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Possession

After recent word came down the TV pike from TVGuide.com that longtime C.S.I. regular Gary Dourdan wouldn’t be returning to the still-popular CBS forensics crime drama next season after his contract expires, it’s now being reported that Dourdan was arrested on Monday in Palm Springs, California on suspicion of drug possession charges.

As TMZ first reported, also confirmed by Access Hollywood on Tuesday, Dourdan was arrested and booked in Palm Springs on suspicion charges of possession of dangerous drugs and narcotics after the arresting officer allegedly found cocaine, Ecstasy, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia in Dourdan’s vehicle. As the reports go on to reveal, Dourdan was allegedly found asleep inside his car, which was parked on the wrong side of the road, and overtly appeared to be under the influence of either alcohol or some type of controlled substance.

Following his arrest, as TMZ reports, Dourdan was released on $5000 bail.
