First Official "Twilight" Photo Hits the Net

With all of the cinematic hype and attention focuses on the many high profile super hero and action projects set for release in 2008, it seems there’s barely any room for other fan friendly films. In the midst of the big budget super hero buzz, Summit Entertainment has released the first official cast image for the upcoming big screen version of Twilight, director Catherine Hardwicke’s adaptation of the popular, best-selling novel by Stephanie Meyer.

Last month we reported on a few Twilight set photos that hit the net and now (via FilmScoolRejects) the gang over at Cinematical has snagged the first official Twilight photo. Although much of our attention has been devoted to the likes of Iron Man and Speed Racer, Twilight is starting to draw us in since several of us "Deadbolts" have been fans of the novel and are even more curious as to how Hardwicke will handle the mortal and immortal aspects of the unconventional romance of the Twilight story. Opening December 12, Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Rachelle Lefevre, Nikki Reed, and Jackson Rathbone.
