10 Interviews from the Bond Franchise, Past and Present
by Reg Seeton
When Ian Fleming created James Bond back in 1952, it's doubtful he would have ever imagined that the 007 franchise would be as big as it is today. With 22 films and six actors who have stepped into the shoes of the world's most famous spy, the James Bond franchise has never been better.
Now with Daniel Craig as the current Bond, 007 has enjoyed a 56 year history that has seen the suave and sophisticated spy leave a deep imprint on the literary, film, TV, music, radio, and video game worlds. When Fleming's Casino Royale short story served as the material to reinvent the franchise in 2006, the success of the movie introduced a whole new generation of moviegoers to a modern James Bond unlike any of the incarnations from the past.
The Bond franchise has a rich history with many unforgettable actors, from Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig to the many bond girls such as Ursula Andress, Honor Blackman, and Halle Berry. With the 22nd James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, set to infiltrate theaters everywhere, here's a look back at "10 Interviews from the Bond Franchise, Past and Present".
