Catherine Hardwicke to Immortalize her Twilight Time in New Notebook by Larson Hill
Now that Twilight has become an even bigger phenomenon, first film director Catherine Hardwicke is releasing Twilight: Director's Notebook, an in-depth book on the making of Twilight that will immortalize her experience in the pages of a book. Hardwicke's Director's Notebook will chronicle the Twilight director's process in bringing the popular Stephenie Meyer novel to the big screen, with revealing bits about where Twilight was filmed, the casting of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and others, complete with images and sketches similar to her own journal that she updated while filming the first of what should be a number of Twilight movies.
Due out on March 17, Twilight: Director's Notebook not only adds to the many Twilight materials hitting the market but also gives Hardwicke an avenue to capitalize on her association with the franchise now that Catherine isn't returning to direct the upcoming sequel New Moon. Instead, the cinematic Twilight baton has been passed to Golden Compass director Chris Weitz who will be helming New Moon.
Why not write a Director's Notebook? When it comes to the popularity of the Twilight franchise and the lucrative business it now is, even Pavlov couldn't have created a better revenue experiment.
