I sooo love Hilary I read a qwhile back that she was in talks to play bella but it didnt work maybe that was just a rumour and the girl is starting to show she has talent watch War, Inc. Hilary was good in it even thought the movie wasnt that good and shes doing alot of indie movies so mybie she wilk suprise us all. Yeah im sure that McCord, tho may not be able to be "Heidi", will be an exeption. Im sure they will try anything to acommodate. Heidi is not even a BIG ROLE. And Duff just needs to go away. Wats up with all these established actors wanting in on The Twilight Saga? Please, leave it for others to have a chance at a breakthrough performance. Dn Duff is not statuesque and will make a horrible Heidi. Why does she want to be the sexy vampire bait? Ugh, wats next, she isoigng to play a stripper?

Anywho, anyone that actually READ New Moon shoudl know that Leah Clearwater has only ONE scene and NO DIALOGUE. She becomes a key player AND warewolf in Eclipse. So stop freaking out pple!

Hilary is not a good choice for the movie. These movies need to stick with young actresses and actors who have not had much fame b/c I think its what makes this movie so unique. Casting directors are ALWAYS looking for a familiar face and with that comes positive and negative stigmas. Let’s stick to a positive one and get new people to portray these amazing characters that Stephenie has created =) I will protest!! I know….. KNOW that SMALL children will be in the theatre. Being loud as hell. Nobody wants that. &+ it will ruin the twilight saga. I love the twilight saga it is the best series of books i have ever read. Hilary is okay and all…when she was younger. Now she’s just a sl*t!!

If you ask me Duff will not be good in new moon. if anyone out there loves the twilight saga like me you will hate to see her in it. all these reports of non serious actors makes the film sound like nothing special.

I'm pretty sure Rob would quit if they cast Hilary Duff. He is a serious actor and casting Hilary Duff is definitely insulting his talent as well as that of Kristen and the rest of the cast. The Twilight Saga is not just for teeny-boppers and hiring teeny-bopper actresses/singers is a serious downgrade.

This is similar to the situation with Robert Pattinson. Before twilight everyone was freaking out when he was cast. Cussing him out and saying he wasn't a good enough actor or didn't look good enough. But guess what! He was freaking amazing in the movie. You have to trust that the director, Chris, knows what he is doing. A lot of people doubted Rob and they ate their words. Sure this isn't the type of role Hilary typically goes for but you never know. Some absolutely hated Rob and were proven wrong. Who's to say this is any different? Also I would like to point out that she is definitely pretty enough and if you look at her with brown hair instead of blonde, like the picture at the top of the page, she can definitely be transformed. I'm not saying she should be in the movie. But I'm not saying she shouldn't. All I'm trying to say is that she definitely has the looks, and that we thought the same thing about Rob before we all fell in love with him. So don't be so quick to judge and trust the director and the casting crew. They know what they are doing. Let's leave it to them because we really aren't in any place to judge who should and especially who shouldn't be in new moon.

I think that hilary is just trying to get attention. She isnt that great of an actor... she's falling into the background and she's trying to become famous again. Kristen aka Bella will never float in the back....and what is with Vanessa wanting to be Leah? She isnt tough enough for twilight and she sucks at acting too. Vanessa if you ever read this stick to your high school musical crap and leave twilight for the big kids.

common, hilary is good, but not that good, but pliz don't cast Vanessa as Leah. Leah is tough, kind of mean, Vanesa is like "angel", nice, weird.. Lost her mind.........
