New Moon Actor Peter Facinelli Stops for Twilight Fans in Vancouver by Reg Seeton
What happens when you take a break from the web at the twilight of the day and run out to get a coffee in Vancouver? On most days, not too much. But sometimes the unexpected happens out of nowhere, especially when a lot of movie productions are in town. In this case, publicly related to the Twilight sequel New Moon, it was in a first-hand look at what the New Moon stars go through when walking the streets of Vancouver. On this day, it was actor Peter Facinelli.
Late yesterday afternoon, a couple of us Deadbolters were standing outside a nearby coffee shop just off the trendy Robson Street in Vancouver, having a chat about non-entertainment related life (if only for a few minutes) when we noticed a small crowd gathering directly across the street on the sidewalk.
Since the crowd consisted of about nine or ten fans, mainly young females, with a couple of older women mixed in and a few guys looking for autographs, it didn't take a genius to figure out that it was one of the cast members in the Twilight sequel New Moon, which is currently filming in and around Vancouver. Which New Moon star did we catch an unexpected glimpse of on the sidewalk, signing a few autographs and taking pictures with fans? Was it was Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, or Taylor Lautner? No. It was Twilight and New Moon actor Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Stephenie Meyer based Twilight sequel.
Interestingly, as an unexpected momentary glimpse
of what the New Moon stars encounter when they
walk the streets of Vancouver, Peter Facinelli
remained on the sidewalk for slightly under
10 minutes, smiling and chatting away until
all autographs were signed and a few photos
were taken, which speaks to the patience and
obvious appreciation Peter has for Twilight
and New Moon fans. Thanks to Peter Facinelli
for being so gracious.

He wore the same hat out the night the cast came out to watch 100 Monkeys play. He didn't wear it the whole time though...off and on, off and on.

How lucky to be right there when Peter was chatting with fans! I think that he is such a sweetheart and always willing to meet with the fans.
