Pussycat Dolls Bring Disco Back from the Dead for "Hush Hush; Hush Hush" by Reg Seeton
Say
what you want about the Pussycat Dolls, but sizzling
hot singing dolls out of Los Angeles are at the
top of their game on the latest PCD album, Doll
Domination. And say what you will about Disco,
but it's definitely not dead thanks to the new
Pussycat Dolls video for "Hush Hush; Hush Hush".
After rising to all-girl glory from the Burlesque
haunts of Tinseltown to the L.A. nightclub scene
and the Las Vegas Strip, The Pussycat Dolls shot
to pop stardom with their 2005 debut album, PCD,
which spawned six singles, including a slew of
subsequent remixes, and put the now five girls
of The Pussycat Dolls on the mainstream musical
map.
With their second full-length album, Doll Domination, blowing up in both the UK and U.S., the Pussycat Dolls are firing on all five female cylinders with their latest single, "Hush Hush; Hush Hush", which goes back in time to the ‘70s to bring a fresh new Disco vibe back to the future to give fans a modern day dose of nightclub fun in the spirit of the famous Studio 54.
Released as a digital download single on May 12, "Hush Hush; Hush Hush" contains everything you’d want from a ‘70s themed PCD video - roller skates, short-shorts, knee-high socks, Diana Ross hairstyles, babes on chandeliers, Disco balls, a PCD version of "I Will Survive", Boney-M style back beats, and a free-spirited, soaking wet, nearly-nude-if-not-for-the-camera Nicole Scherzinger stepping out of a bubble bath.
Don’t believe me? Grab a lollipop like Telly Savalas in Kojak, put on your
Charlie’s Angels T-shirt, lace up the roller
skates, and glide your way into the ‘70s world
of The Pussycat Dolls and their latest single,
"Hush Hush; Hush Hush", below.
