Twilight Weekly Wrap: New Moon Soundtrack, Pattinson and SNL, and Kristen Stewart Hates Twitter by Troy Rogers
The past week of Twilight Saga headlines gave Twilight and New Moon fans a slew of Twilight related goodness about Robert Pattinson, New Moon, Kristen Stewart, Eclipse, and a new round of Twilight Saga set photos. In fact, the past Twilight week was dominated by more photos from the set of the Twilight Saga Eclipse stealthily taken while Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart worked on the Eclipse set in Vancouver.
Twilight Saga fans also received a few off-set Twilight nuggets about the ongoing rumored Pattinson and Stewart romance plus a couple of New Moon pieces on Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer, including quotes from Jack's Mannequin singer Andrew McMahon who shared his thoughts on the New Moon soundtrack.

Andrew McMahon Hopes for a Spot on Eclipse

an exclusive interview with TheDeadbolt.com,
Jack's Mannequin singer Andrew
McMahon talked Twilight about his relationship
with Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer and
whether Twilight fans have been asking him about
Jack's Mannequin for the New Moon soundtrack,
namely whether Twilight Saga fans thought Jack's
would be a shoe-in for the New Moon soundtrack
due to his friendship with Stephenie Meyer.
Andrew McMahon revealed that although a Jack's
Mannequin spot on the New Moon soundtrack would've
been great, he's keeping his Twilight fingers
crosses for the Eclipse or Breaking Dawn soundtracks.

Although Kristen Stewart landed the role of Swan instead of Ashley, Greene revealed in a Twilight interview that she auditioned for Bella Swan but landed the Twilight Saga role of Alice Cullen instead.

The long awaited New Moon soundtrack song list was released on Monday, September 21 when Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer posted the New Moon soundtrack track/band list on her website. After a Twilight Saga check, we're happy The Killers and Thom Yorke made the New Moon cut.
Stephenie Meyer Goes From Vampires to Sci-fi:
Although the Twilight Saga has propelled author Stephenie Meyer onto the world Twilight stage, more word came out this Twilight week that Stephenie Meyer will be delving into the non Twilight sci-fi world with The Host, about aliens taking over the bodies of humans. Stephenie Meyer obviously has the Twilight Midas touch since everything Meyer penned to date has turned to New Moon gold.
Eclipse Reports its First Injury:
This
week Twilight Saga actor Jackson
Rathbone was bitten by the Twilight injury
bug on the Vancouver set of Eclipse. According
to Twilight reports, Jackson Rathbone who plays
vampire Jasper Hale was slightly injured during
a post New Moon, Twilight Saga Eclipse fight
scene and was taken to hospital. However, New
Moon fans breathed a sigh of Twilight relief
as Jackson was back on the Eclipse set in no
time.
No 30 Rock for Robert Pattinson:
After Twilight rumors about Robert Pattinson potentially hosting Saturday Night Live swirled, several Twilight outlets reported that Tina Fey expressed a New Moon interest in having Robert Pattinson guest star on 30 Rock. In fact, since outlets got it wrong, it was 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin who mentioned Robert Pattinson and 30 Rock in the same Twilight sentence. However, Baldwin was expressing non Twilight interest in Paul McCartney for a guest on 30 Rock while his daughter was the one who wanted Robert Pattinson.
New Moon Footage at Rome Film Fest?
Although the latest New Moon trailer recently aired on the Twilight Saga shores of North America, there was Twilight talk that new New Moon footage would be presented at the Rome Film Festival, with possible Twilight Saga guest appearances from New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

Twilight and New Moon fans will soon see the Twilight Saga in comic book tie-in form with the Twilight release of the Stephenie Meyer comic, Stephenie Meyer: Female Force which centers on the Twilight Saga author and her journey to bring the Twilight Saga to life. This past Twilight week saw a sneak peek at pages and Twilight panels of Female Force, which will coincide with the November Twilight Saga release of New Moon.

Although a 30 Rock Twilight guest spot isn't in the New Moon cards for Twilight Saga actor Robert Pattinson, several Saturday Night Live cast members showed their Twilight support to have Robert Pattinson host on SNL. Although some of the Twilight thumbs-up is a bit New Moon ambiguous, it certainly makes Twilight sense that Pattinson would turn up on SNL.
