Tumultuous Temptation with Sean and Antoine of The Biggest Loser
by Troy Rogers

Week three of The Biggest Loser Second Chances saw the nice supportive gameplay of the previous two Biggest Loser weeks go out the ranch window, as self-serving interests and temptation had a huge ripple effect on the game. After Tracey stepped up to avoid trainers Bob and Jillian to gain a two pound advantage over the other teams without the consent of her team mate Mo, dissension among The Biggest Loser ranks set the early tone of the show.

But during a cupcake temptation challenge that would give a player control of the game, Antoine Dove buckled under the pressure and ate two cupcakes without the other Biggest Loser contestants knowing while Tracey set herself apart from the pack by eating four cupcakes, which sent an even bigger Biggest Loser ripple effect throughout the teams.

In an explosive episode filled with Biggest Loser sparks, with Tracey taking nasty command of the game, the final weigh-in saw Tracey lose the most weight for the week while Biggest Loser team mates Sean Algaier and Antoine Dove found themselves on the outside of the ranch looking in after willing to give Biggest Loser, Shay, a second chance at staying in the game.

After being voted out of The Biggest Loser ranch in week three, we caught up with Sean and Antoine the very next morning to get the scoop on Tracey, how they felt about the gameplay, and an update on Sean's week one Diabetes diagnosis.

THE DEADBOLT: Sean, in regard to Tracey, what do you think of Bob's comment, "Game players get fat again."?

SEAN ALGAIER: You now, Bob has been around the block several times. He's no stranger to weight loss. He's no stranger to training and I trust what he says. I don't wish that on Tracey at all. I wish her complete success and a completely healthy life until she passes on. But it's one of those things where Bob is a little more intuitive and knows about this more than I do. And I'll trust that if that's what he says, then that's how it goes. But I definitely don't wish that on Tracey, I love her to death, and I wish her and her family the best for sure.

THE DEADBOLT: Antoine, when you guys were still at home watching the show, were you one of those people that said, "If I can just get on the show, I can lose weight."?

ANTOINE DOVE: [laughs] I would definitely say that I was one of those people. The reason I say that is because being on the ranch is one of those great opportunities of a lifetime. You have no distractions. You're removed from everything. You're removed from your family. You're removed from your job. I mean, everything. And my problem was that a lot of times I allowed my job, and I allowed other thing that I was doing, to get in the way of my weight loss and I'd use those as excuses.

So I was like, "If can remove all of these things. If I didn't have to do this, if I didn't have to do that, I believe I can lose weight." And what's funny about the whole situation is that I removed all of those things. I went to the ranch, I lost weight, I was eliminated early. So then I had to come right back to the lifestyle that I was living before and all of those things came back again.

But what's cool about that is is that I really got the jump start at the ranch to say, "Look, you can do this. Okay, you lost over thirty-something pounds in three weeks. You can do this!" So that became my driver to push me always toward my weight loss. So I definitely sit around and think that. And because of that, it helped me to continue my weight loss journey at home.

THE DEADBOLT: We've seen past contestants getting rid of ailments after being on the show. What's the latest on your diabetes?

SEAN: You know, in week one I lost twenty-two pounds, and as soon as that took place I have lost diabetes completely. I know that seems far fetched, but the reality is that seven days of massive training and massive diet change changed my life forever. And I had no idea that I had diabetes. When they diagnosed me, it shocked me into another dimension. I mean, my head exploded and all I could do was cry and think about my family and my wife. You know, seven days! I'm telling you, seven days. If you're serious about this kind of stuff, you can change a lot in seven days.

THE DEADBOLT: We noticed that when Dr. H told you, it looked like it hit you like a ton of bricks.

SEAN: Oh, it fell on top of me like a Mack truck, man. I mean, I almost couldn't breathe for a minute, because I thought, "You know, all of these other people are fat and have sicknesses, and all of this stuff, and I'm just big. You know, I don't have any sicknesses." And I was wrong. I was so wrong it was stupid.

Just from one single episode, I can tell that Tracey is only looking out for herself. I don't like her and I hope she gets voted off soon!!!! She cannot be trusted!!
