Director Bryan Singer in X-Men Talks with Fox
by Troy Rogers

After directing the popular X-Men based comic book films, X-Men and X2: X-Men United, director Bryan Singer may be back in the X-Men director's chair for another X-Men movie sooner than fans may think, as Bryan Singer recently revealed he's in talks with Fox to possibly helm another installment in the X-Men franchise.

In new X-Men related news via SFGate, while Bryan Singer was at the South Korea Pusan International Film Festival over the weekend, Singer revealed that he has been in talks with Fox to return to the X-Men franchise. "I'm still looking to possibly returning to the 'X-Men' franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it."

Bryan Singer also talked about what he loves about the X-Men franchise, saying the X-Men is more about tolerance and social acceptance rather than just non X-Men related heroes with super powers in costumes. Bryan Singer also gave X-Men fans insight into his directing style and that the former X-Men director likes to "trick audiences into thinking they're seeing fireworks, but they're learning about themselves and listening to what I have to say."

Bryan Singer rose to fame with The Usual Suspects and soon went on to direct X-Men and X2: X-Men United before leaving the X-Men to direct Superman Returns. Bryan Singer was also absent on the latest X-Men film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was directed by Gavin Hood.
