Monty Python and the Holy Grail of Fallon Interviews by Troy Rogers
The Monty Python group of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Terry Jones were in New York this week to celebrate Monty Python's 40th anniversary and silly walked their way to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to discuss the Monty Python legacy.
With four of the Monty Python guys together on the Late Night set, TheDeadbolt received a Holy Grail of video clips from NBC that feature Jimmy Fallon and a Late Night round of questions for John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Terry Jones on how they got started forty years ago, where the now iconic name Monty Python came from, and the Monty Python IFC documentary.
But the piece de resistance came when Eric Idle took to the stage with Late
Night house band The Roots for a rendition of
the Monty Python classic "Always Look On The
Bright Side of Life". Trust us, you can't beat
these video clips with a dead parrot!
Jimmy asks Monty Python's
John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Terry
Jones how they would describe Monty Python and
how they came up with the name.
Jimmy talks to Monty Python's
Cleese, Gilliam, Idle, and Jones about their
IFC documentary and the Monty Python animations.
Monty Python's Eric Idle
performs "Always Look on the Bright Side of
Life" with The Roots.
Its very good to see the original team together with the same spontainious joke, pranks and laughter . darren christmas ho ho ho very funny lol.

Subject: Thank you!
Thanks for bringing me back to a much better time! I was (and am) addicted to Monty Python, every Sunday night, like clockwork back in the 70's. Love you!
