A Heroes Photo Preview of the Hiro and Charlie Kiss
by Troy Rogers
The NBC comic book hit, Heroes, kicked off one of the best storylines of the first season with the relationship between the Masi Oka embodied Hiro and the Jayma Mays character Charlie and Hiro's attempt to save her life from Sylar via the now trademark Hiro time-freezing powers. But, as Heroes fans know after the progression of Heroes, Hiro was unsuccessful in saving Charlie after a valiant Heroes attempt.
The good news for Heroes fans is that it's been a few years and now Hiro gets another shot in Heroes Season 4 at being with Charlie, as actress Jayma Mays returns to Heroes to reprise her love interest role alongside Hiro.
On November 2, Heroes welcomes a special guest as the love of Hiro's life, Charlie [Jayma Mays], in the episode "Once Upon A Time In Texas". Hiro time travels back three years, where he gets a another chance to save Charlie from the clutches of Sylar. Although Hiro gets his second chance at love, the presence of Samuel, played by former Prison Break actor Robert Knepper, puts a wrinkle in Hiro's plans.
As a lead up to the November 2 "Once Upon A Time in Texas" episode of Heroes, which plays an integral role in the Hiro storyline, TheDeadbolt received a Heroes photo preview from NBC of the Hiro - Charlie kiss that Heroes fan have been waiting for.
Check out the pic of the Hiro Nakamura and Charlie Andrews lip-lock below after a special quote from Heroes star, Masi Oka.
"This was one of my favorite episodes of
the series. I had the opportunity to explore
the many layers of Hiro. It was truly wonderful
working with Jayma again and I even got to play
against a younger me. Ah, how naive we were.
It's an episode full of joy and tears. It's
Hiro's Company Man and our homage to episode
8 in season 1. This scene is where Hiro finally
gets his long awaited kiss. His dream upon the
thousand cranes, the origami in his left hand,
came true. But is there a happy ending? It's
Heroes after all. I hope you enjoy watching
the episode as much as I had making it. Thank
you!"
