Twilight Star Robert Pattinson Not New Moon Romantic
by Larson Hill

Judging by Robert Pattinson as Twilight and New Moon character, Edward Cullen, Twilight Saga fans would assume the British actor was a master of romance. But Robert Pattinson recently revealed to E!Online that he isn't very Twilight romantic in real life. Pattinson also admitted he doesn't have the nerve to be romantic like Edward Cullen in Twilight and New Moon.

While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were in L.A. to promote New Moon, Pattinson sat down with E!Online to discuss his real life romantic Twilight side, which, according to Robert Pattinson, is non-existent. When asked about being a true Twilight Saga romantic away from the screen and New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson revealed, "I really haven't done that many romantic things in my life ... I mean, I've watched Titanic."

Given how Robert Pattinson plays guitar with songs also on the Twilight soundtrack, it would be easy for New Moon fans to think Pattinson is a master at the romantic art of serenading. But Robert Pattinson admits that it's all far from the Twilight truth. "Oh no. You need to have so much balls to do that ... I put a flower on someone's locker when I was 15." While it's understandable that Robert Pattinson and Edward Cullen are completely different, Pattinson did admit to being possessive about his image. "I guess I get quite obsessive about things, possessive. I have very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. I don't listen to anyone, that's why I don't have a publicist or anything."
