Post Leak Stream of Them Crooked Vultures Debut by Troy Rogers
In
this musical day and age, leaked songs from crooked
vultures on the web still send ripple effects
throughout the industry. Although some leaked
tracks can be positive publicity, crooked vultures
who leak tracks ahead of official album releases
often result in lower sales for the band.
This week the Them Crooked Vultures trio of Dave Grohl, Joshua Homme and John Paul Jones saw their entire debut album get leaked online ahead of the November 17 release date. Although it's hard to say how Grohl, Homme, and former Led Zeppelin bassist Jones of Them Crooked Vultures felt about the leak, the band members decided to stream the entire album for free on Youtube as a result of crooked vultures releasing the tracks early.
In addition to their leaked self titled debut album, Them Crooked Vultures announced the band's first ever shows in California and the Pacific Northwest:
November 17 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles
November 19 at the Fox Theater in Oakland
November 21 at the Paramount Theater in Seattle
November 22 at the Roseland Theater in Portland.
The tour expands for Them Crooked Vultures as the band heads to the UK and
Europe with January dates set for Australia
and New Zealand.
