New Moon Star Robert Pattinson Calls Twilight Craze a Virus by Larson Hill
Beyond the popularity of Twilight, New Moon and Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson, when something unstoppable sweeps the online globe, Twilighters usually call that a virus. As the Stephenie Meyer penned Twilight Saga takes over the world, New Moon actor Robert Pattinson recently referred to the Twilight craze as a virus while attending a Twilight fan party in the U.K. ahead of New Moon.
According to a Robert Pattinson story on ThisisLondon, Robert Pattinson compared the Twilight craze to a virus this week at a New Moon fan party in London at Battersea Park. While Robert Pattinson was home in London, the New Moon actor who stars with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner mentioned how the Twilight Saga just took off around the world like a Twilight virus. "We went to Japan earlier on in the year. There wasn't that much of a reaction - but last week when we went again, it suddenly exploded, the same as here." As for the widespread popularity of Twilight Saga, Robert Pattinson added, "I don't know how, it just explodes so quickly. It takes seven months to take hold - it's like a virus."
While not as worrisome as the H1N1 virus, we do understand what Robert Pattinson was referring to since the entire world has become infected with the Twilight virus ahead of New Moon, which includes the Robert Pattinson virus, Kristen Stewart virus, and Taylor Lautner virus.
Yes, it is a virus because I got infected after watching the movie and I am not a teenager and there are a lot of teenage boys that are also infected. Robert Pattinson can consider himself the H1N1 because of him this virus has spread so rampant.

Subject: Not a virus, but something else!
If twilight was a virus than everyone including the guys would fall in love with the series, but that isn't true. So with that said, you can't really call the twilight series a virus. Twilight craze is something else!
