Stephenie Meyer Talks Pattinson and Twilight with Oprah by Larson Hill
With the release of the Twilight sequel New Moon only days away, Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer stopped by the set of Oprah to chat with Oprah Winfrey last Friday, where Meyer talked about New Moon, the Twilight Saga, and her personal relationship with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
On Friday, New Moon author Stephenie Meyer joined Oprah on a pre-taped show where Stephenie revealed that when she first saw Robert Pattinson, the now famous Twilight actor became Edward Cullen in her mind because of his unique features. "I knew that the problem was going to be Edward, because he's the perfect vampire," adding, "How do you cast that from your pool of human actors?" Referring to the unique Twilight features of Robert Pattinson, Stephenie Meyer told Oprah, "There's something unusual. There are moments where he looks exactly like he did in my head."
While anxious fans of Twilight, New Moon and Robert Pattinson in the Oprah audience sat on the edges of their seats, Stephenie Meyer continued the Pattinson line from audience inquiries. "Rob smells great! Rob is hilarious, he is the funniest person. He is really fun to hang out with. He is not at all like the Edward character. It is interesting to see him shift back and forth because he is so different as Rob." Meyer continued, "His eyes, his facial structure, he just doesn't look like everybody else - in a very good way."
Interesting. Last week Robert Pattinson revealed that he doesn't change his clothes that often yet he stills smells great according to Stephenie Meyer.
I don't know. I personally believe that people who don't get the joke and truly believe that Robert stinks are idiots. However, I've never smelt him so who knows. It just seems insane that someone who has hugged so many fans and been around so many interviews would really be stink and NO ONE WOULD SAY IT. Get a clue guys. The only person we've ever heard this from is Robert himself and he jokes about stuff ALL THE TIME. People are idiots. Just saying.
