SNL Highlights with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Al Gore by Troy Rogers
Over the last few weeks on NBC's Saturday Night
Live, fans have seen a slew of hosts take to the
SNL stage. Last Saturday, G.I. Joe actor Joseph
Gordon-Levitt went live from New York to host
SNL, offering fans a spoof of country music and
European pop with the help of musical guest Dave
Matthews. As well, Gordon-Levitt stepped into
the shoes of Jason Mraz on the Mellow Show before
taking on the comedic role of a stage hand on
the female talk show, Woman to Woman.
Another highlight of last week's SNL was the appearance of former Vice President
Al Gore who got into the comedic swing by revealing
a crazy comedic angle to get his environmental
message across, which includes giving toy guns
to trees. SNL cast members Andy Samberg and
Kenan Thompson got into the musical side of
comedy with their SNL digital short in which
Kenan plays Reba McEntire.
