Shakira Shares Holiday Traditions for Christmas in Rockefeller Center by Nadya Vlassoff
With the holiday season in full swing, NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center Special is beginning its annual holiday festivities early. Who better to get on board than international singing sensation, Shakira? After the release of the latest Shakira album, She Wolf, the Columbian songstress took a few minutes to sit down with NBC and talk about her own childhood memories about the Christmas holidays.
She Wolf has been one of the most critically acclaimed Shakira albums to date, with accolades coming from both Rolling Stone and Billboard. Along with co-producers John Hill and Sam Endicott, Shakira took a bold step in a new, musical direction with She Wolf and the gamble has paid off. LiveNation agreed as well and signed Shakira to a multi-million dollar, 10 year deal.
After thousands of people across the U.S. submitted pictures of potential trees that could adorn one of NYC’s most famous landmarks, the Christmas in Rockefeller Center Special airs December 2 on NBC.
