Bryce Dallas Howard Admits to Twilight Pressure on Eclipse by Larson Hill
Prior to the release of New Moon, actress Bryce Dallas Howard made Twilight Saga Eclipse headlines when Summit Entertainment axed Twilight actress Rachelle Lefevre from the Twilight Saga role of Victoria and hired Bryce Dallas Howard for the third film in the Twilight series. Now that New moon has hit theaters and Eclipse is on the way, Bryce Dallas Howard recently revealed that there was pressure on the Twilight Saga Eclipse set when Howard joined the cast.
According to Access Hollywood, when Eclipse actress Bryce Dallas Howard was on The View this week, Howard admitted there was Twilight pressure stepping into the Twilight Saga role of the evil vampire Victoria for the Twilight Saga Eclipse. Bryce Dallas Howard revealed how the Twilight pressure stemmed from the dismissal of Rachelle Lefevre from the Twilight Saga by Summit Entertainment, which resulted in a mini-feud between Lefevre and Summit.
Although both Twilight fans and Rachelle Lefevre were disappointed with Summit's decision, the Twilight Saga Eclipse cast members, which include Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, welcomed Bryce Dallas Howard with open arms. Howard also admitted that even Rachelle Lefevre was kind to her replacement, as Bryce told The View, "I felt really grateful to the cast and to everyone and actually Rachelle herself just was so gracious," Dallas Howard revealed. "Really, the intention is just to make the best film possible and you know, it was really terrible what happened but I did my best."

you never change cast members in such a great movie. victori should never had been been switch. you are going to mess the film. ms. Lefevre was so perfect for that role. it match her so well. i don't think all the that part will be the same. bring her back.

It is never the same when you change the characters. Nothing against
Ms. Howard but they should have kept Ms. Lefevre. It won't be the same.

Yeh i was angry about the change too, but its interesting how it happened, as most of victorias stff so far is emotional and visual, in eclipse victoria gets alot more sinister I think and much more dialogue (havent read the book). After eclipse ryce should probably stick around as she will have built up the character alot, and she will become the character for us, its a shame but for the sake of continuity I think she should stay.
