Translated Tokio Hotel Interview on Tokio Success by Troy Rogers
For Tokio Hotel fans who don't speak German, hunting for news about German super-rockers Tokio Hotel can be daunting if you don't know the right Tokio spots to get over the Tokio Hotel language barrier. Tokio Hotel fans in North American can now find a translated interview with the guys of Tokio Hotel from their appearance on the German talk show with J.B. Kerner.
After performing the latest Tokio Hotel single, "World Behind My Wall", from the 2009 album Humanoid, The Tokio foursome of Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, and Gustav Schafer hung out with J.B. Kerner to talk Humanoid, global Tokio Hotel fame, and the gargantuan year that saw Tokio Hotel nearly take over the world.
How does Bill Kaulitz feel about the Tokio success of 2009? As the Tokio Hotel front man revealed, the success of Humanoid was unexpected. "After every year it was that we thought ‘Okay, what’s next? What are we doing? How does it go on?’ And the new album came out and that it’s so well received and that it goes on [was] so great for us ... You don’t expect that it will stay like this."
