Robert Pattinson and Christina Ricci in Bel Ami
by Larson Hill

After starring with Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga, Robert Pattinson will soon be seen on screen with Christina Ricci. Although Twilight and New Moon actor Robert Pattinson has mentioned in various Twilight Saga interviews that meeting women hasn't been easy, Pattinson doesn't have a hard time getting cast alongside Hollywood hotties in upcoming films. Within days of the Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman headlines surrounding Bel Ami, Robert Pattinson will also be working opposite Christina Ricci who was recently added to the Bel Ami cast.

According to MTV, Robert Pattinson will be working with both Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci in Bel Ami. Working with Pattinson in Bel Ami, Ricci will play Clotilde de Marelle, a friend of Madeleine Forestier, played by Uma Thurman. On the heels of Twilight and New Moon, Robert Pattinson will play journalist George Duroy who climbs the social ladder in Paris by seducing the city's influential woman.

Bel Ami is the first Robert Pattinson toplined film film beyond The Twilight Saga that Summit Entertainment isn't producing. In a recent interview, Robert Pattinson admitted that Bel Ami will be an opportunity to prove himself beyond the Twilight and New Moon role of Edward Cullen. "Before 'Twilight' I did any movie that I got [offered], and you'd try and make the best of it afterward," Pattinson revealed. "But now you're expected to come into the movie and provide not only economic viability, but also a performance as well. You can't just mess around. People are like, 'We're employing you to be here, as a star and an actor.' It's difficult, and it's scary."

For the past two years Robert Pattinson has starred with Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga. Soon Robert Pattinson will be seen with Emilie de Ravin in the upcoming Remember Me and later both Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci in Bel Ami.
