After weeks of waiting, Ellen is about to arrive
on American Idol. As talk of Ellen DeGeneres on
American Idol heats up, Fox has released a new
Idol promo with Ellen behind the judge's table
with Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi, and Simon
Cowell. Fans of both American Idol and The Ellen
DeGeneres Show have been waiting on the edges
of their Idol seats for Ellen to take a seat at
the American Idol judge's table. This week, as
American Idol moves into the Hollywood Round,
Ellen Degeneres makes her Idol premiere on Tuesday,
February 9 at 8pm.

With Ellen DeGeneres now serving as an American Idol judge, Ellen will be one of the big Idol three to decide who will make it through to the American Idol Top 24. Although longtime American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, left her own unique Idol legacy, the decision to bring in guest judge's has paid off since the departure of Abdul with additions of Mary J. Blige, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, and now Ellen DeGeneres, who's sure to give Idol hopefuls a dose of no-nonsense advice Ellen style.
