Celebrity babies are a big business these days and when it comes to cashing in on photos of baby Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making sure the money goes toward charity and helping African children in need. It was reported on Monday that in an effort to raise money and awareness to aid charities benefiting African children, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will sell the rights to photographs of their newborn baby daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, in partnership with Getty Images. According to Reuters, the photos are expected to come at a high price, "The photos, which are expected to fetch millions of dollars, will be licensed to media worldwide by Getty Images, which said it will make no profit from distribution of the pictures of the Hollywood couple's baby."

With the paparazzi and media circling like vultures, waiting for a chance to snap the exclusive shot of baby Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have turned the tables on the press in an effort to have financial proceeds go to charity and benefit children in need rather than line the pockets of journalists or media outlets. E Online, reveals the most recent quote from the celebrity couple, dubbed Brangelina, "While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that 2 million babies born ever year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives," the crusading couple said. "These children can be saved, but only if governments around the world make it a priority."

In a recent press release, as reported by Yahoo, Getty Images CEO and co-founder, Jonathan Klein shares his thoughts on action taken by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to sell the photos for charity, "We are honored that the Jolie-Pitt family has recognized our long-term commitment to these critical issues as well as our ability to use the power of imagery to make a difference in the lives of many."

According to the official ,Getty Images website, the company keeps pace with the everchanging marketplace, "Mark Getty and Jonathan Klein founded Getty Images in 1995 with the goal of turning a disjointed and fragmented stock photography market into a thriving, modernized industry able to meet the changing needs of visual communicators. We were the first company to license imagery via the web, moving the entire industry online."
