Casey Affleck Marries Summer Phoenix

Here's another celebrity marriage to make the headlines. Ben Affleck's little brother, Casey Affleck, has married Summer Phoenix, the little sister of Joaquin Phoenix. Lets hope that Casey's first marriage goes smoother than Ben's first time at the altar. Remember Affleck/Lopez?

The famous siblings of both the Affleck and Phoenix clans exchanged nuptials over the weekend, according to Affleck's publicist, Rebecca Feferman. iAfrica reports that Casey and Summer tied the knot over the weekend, but no further details, like the guest list, were made available. Both Phoenix and Affleck are passionate about animal rights, politics and veganism. Prior to their wedding, Summer was quoted to say, " He is a bleeding heart," adding, "He is the most generous guy I have ever met," in an interview for Boston magazine.

Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix have a two year old son, Indiana August, born only 5 months after their engagement. According to Playfuls.com, " Affleck, 30, and Phoenix, 28, have been together for six years. The two were introduced by Summer's brother Phoenix, who is a friend of Affleck's, whom he met while filming 'To Die For' in 1995."

Casey Affleck has appeared in such films as: Chasing Amy, Good Will Hunting, American Pie 2, Ocean's Eleven, and Ocean's Twelve. Currently, he has The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, starring Brad Pitt, due out this year, as well as Gone Baby Gone, which also marks his big brother Ben's directorial debut.

Summer Phoenix, while not as famous her big brother, Joaquin, has starred in The Faculty, Commited, The Believer, Wasted, and most recently, Suzie Gold.
