The television legend behind shows such as, Beverly Hills 90210, and Dynasty, Aaron Spelling, has suffered a stroke over the weekend at his L.A. area home.
People
reports that Aaron Spelling suffered a stroke and have
a quote from the 83 year old TV producer's publicist,
Kevin Saski. "Aaron Spelling suffered a stroke at
his home on Sunday," adding further, "He is resting
at home under a doctor's care."
The full extent of Aaron Spelling's health following
the stroke has yet to be made public, but if he is still
at home, we can take that as a good sign.MSNBC
has posted a statement given by Kevin Saski to The
Associated Press, where he reveals, "I don't
know the extent of it. But if it had been some incredible
degree, he would have been taken to the hospital."
Aaron Spelling has produced some of television's most
memorable shows spanning four decades including, The
Mod Squad, Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's
Angels, Dynasty, and The Love Boat.
Aaron is also the father of actress, Tori Spelling,
and actor Ryan Spelling, who have both appeared in his
projects, especially, Beverly Hills 90210. Despite
his numerous accomplishments, Spelling continues to
emphasize that his favorite project of all time is 7th
Heaven. The success of this "little drama that could",
and the fact that it has been the WB's most-watched
series since 1998, is beyond belief to him.
