Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's marriage took the spotlight this weekend, but Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross also walked down the aisle this weekend, marrying stockbroker Tom Mahoney.

Marcia Cross, who plays Bree Van De Kamp on the hit ABC show, Desperate Housewives, was married on Saturday to her 48 year old fiancé, Tom Mahoney. USA Today reports that the wedding took place at the Church of Our Savior Episcopal Paris in San Gabriel, California. Apparently, the reception took place at the Ritz-Carlton in nearby Pasadena, California.

The Mercury News reported on the all-important dress, as well as the bridal party. "The bride wore a gown by Reem Acra at the ceremony, which took place before about 200 guests. In lieu of bridesmaids, Cross had seven flower girls, ranging in age from 3 to 12, the children of some of her closest friends.

Marcia Cross and Tom Mahoney's guest list was as enviable as any. Fellow Desperate Housewives actresses Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman were in attendance. Huffman brought her husband, William H. Macy, and not to be outdone, Eva Longoria brought her boyfriend, Tony Parker, of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs.

This is the first marriage for both Cross and Mahoney, though Marcia Cross had been involved in a long-term relationship with actor Richard Jordan up until his death in 1993. People reports, Cross and Mahoney "were first spotted together in March 2005, when they took a weekend ski trip to Deer Valley, Utah." People nabbed quote from Cross in April, which seems appropriate for her wedding day. " My favorite beauty product is my fiancé, Tom. It's true. I think that beauty comes from being happy and connected to the people we love, and his love makes me feel beautiful."

Marcia Cross got her first repeat role in a TV series on the show Ned and Stacey, followed quickly by her role as Dr. Kimberly Mancini on the popular show Melrose Place. A brief stint on Boy Meets World would be followed up by her part on the critically acclaimed Everwood. She now rules the airwaves as Bree Van De Kamp on the show Desperate Housewives. Cross's wedding also helped calm rumors that one of the Desperate Housewives would be coming out of the closet. As for the next Desperate Housewives cast member to get married, look for Nicolette Sheridan to marry her fiancé, singer Michael Bolton. Also look for Marcia Cross to appear in the upcoming movie, Dallas.
