The controversial lead singer of Guns N' Roses, Axl Rose, has been arrested again, this time in Stockholm for violent conduct and damaging a hotel room. As the resurrected and newly formed version of the band gets set to tour in support of their upcoming and long awaited album, Chinese Democracy, it seems controversy follows Axl Rose wherever he goes.

As E Online reports, "Axl Rose spent some quality time in a Stockholm jail Tuesday following his arrest for allegedly biting a hotel security on the leg following a rampage through the Bens Hotel." Guns N' Roses are currently in the middle of a European tour and were staying at the hotel. "Rose, 44, was arrested and booked on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard and causing damage to the hotel"

What will the punishment be for the tumultuous Guns N' Roses front man? As theBBC reveals, Axl could face up to 4 years in prison if he's found guilty of violent conduct, "Rose is alleged to have bitten a security guard in the leg outside the Berns Hotel, in Stockholm." The decision to press charges against Axl will have to wait for the moment, as the lead singer was too intoxicated for questioning when he was picked up. CNN, reported, Police spokeswoman, Towe Hagg was quoted as telling the Associated Press, "He was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away."

Formed in 1985, Guns N' Roses shot to stardom with the release of their debut album Appetite for Destruction in 1987, which produced such hit songs as Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, and Sweet Child O' Mine. It wasn't until 1991 that Guns N' Roses became legendary rock gods with the release of the multi-platinum double album Use Your Illusion 1 and Use Your Illusion II, which featured such hits as November Rain, Don't Cry, Live and Let Die, Civil War, You Could Be Mine, and the unforgettable cover Knocking on Heaven's Door, written by folk legend Bob Dylan. After a heated public break up in 1993 at the end of their historic 28 month Use Your Illusion Tour, Guns N' Roses parted ways for good. Slash went on to form the short lived band Slash's Snakepit, while Axl Rose fell into relative obscurity and seclusion, appearing every so often with new incarnations of the band.
