Brigitte Nielsen has married her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi, for the second time, but this time it's legal. Nielsen and Dessi walked down the aisle 17 months ago, but the ceremony was deemed not legal because Nielsen's divorce to her fourth husband wasn't yet finished.

The wedding between Sylvester Stallone's ex-wife and the Italian former model were wed at the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa in Malta. The wedding in Malta comes after their previous attempt at marriage a year and a half ago, when they walked down the aisle in the Dominican Republic. At that time, Brigitte Nielsen was still legally married to her fourth husband, former race car driver Raoul Meyer.

People quoted Nielsen's manager and friend, Luigi Balduini, as saying that last year's Dominican wedding "was more like an official engagement. They put it on the news that it was a marriage, but it was an engagement, because she was still legally married." Balduini went on to say that Nielsen "is pretty excited. She is like a little child. She is pretty happy.

iAfrica reports that "Donald Trump's former wife, Ivana, was the witness," and that "Two of Nielsen's four children, Douglas and Raoul Jr., attended." With all of that, Brigitte Nielsen has her fifth husband, who is nearly 15 years her junior.

Brigitte Nielsen began her wedding bonanza by marrying the Danish musician, Kasper Winding. Her second husband would be arguably her most famous husband, Sylvester Stallone. After divorcing Stallone, Nielsen married NFL-er Mark Gastineau. That marriage would be short-lived, and Nielsen would go on to marry race car driver Raoul Meyer. Their marriage would last from December 1993 through 2005, though she was romantically linked to other men towards the end of their marriage.

Nielsen has four children in total. One of her children was fathered by Kasper Winding, and another was sired by Mark Gastineau. Her two other children, Douglas Aaron Meyer and Raoul Jr. Ayrton Meyer, were the sons of Raoul Meyer.

People reported that "The 6-ft.-plus Danish actress's relationship with former Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav, whom she met in 2004 on VH1's 'The Surreal Life', was chronicled on another reality series on the network, 'Strange Love', in 2005. The show ended with Nielsen apparently choosing Dessi over Flav, but Balduini downplayed Nielsen's involvement with the hip-hop star, telling PEOPLE last year that it was "more of a strong friendship - but it's very heavy."

As well as being the subject of reality TV, Brigitte Nielsen has also had a film career in the past. Nielsen has appeared in a number of films, such as Red Sonja, Rocky IV, Cobra, Beverly Hills Cop II, Snowboard Academy and Doomsdayer.
