Fred Savage, the former child star of “The Wonder Years”,
is now a father. The actor and his wife, Jennifer Lynn
Stone, had their first child together over the weekend,
a baby boy.
You could say that Fred Savage’s real life ‘Wonder
Years’ are starting now, as he and his wife, Jennifer
Lynn Stone welcomed a new addition to their family.
Zap2it
reports, Fred and Jennifer became the proud parents
of a 6-pound, 13-ounce son on Saturday and both Stone
and the baby are said to be just fine. As for a name
on the little guy, both parents haven’t decided yet.
Becoming a new father will likely help Fred Savage
with his recent workload, which involved working behind
the camera as a director on Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh",
as well as directing and producing "Phil of the Future"
for the Disney Channel. As Fred’s projects seem centered
on family entertainment, his new duty as a dad will
definitely give him inspiration and keep him mindful
of his audience, as MSNBC
reports.
Fred Savage is remembered for his role of the TV show,
“The Wonder Years”, in which he played Kevin Arnold
from 1988-93. In addition to his work on “The Wonder
Years”, Savage has also appeared in various films, including:
“The Princess Bride”, “Little Monsters”, “Austin Powers
in Goldmember”, and “The Rules of Attraction”. Fred
can currently be seen starring on the ABC comedy, “Crumbs”
and is also featured on the World Poker Tour in the
Hollywood Home games for the Children's Hospital Los
Angeles charity.
