Suri Cruise Makes Public Appearance
By Doug Pendrell

The speculation around the offspring of Tom Cruise
and Katie Holmes has built and built over the four months
Suri Cruise has been alive, but hidden. Now, with the
promise of public photos in the near future, the rumors
seem to be on the downswing. To add to the publicity
over Suri Cruise, Suri made her first public appearance.
Suri Cruise showed up at a party thrown by Will Smith
and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. The Smiths were having
a birthday party for their son, Jaden, when Suri made
her first public appearance. Jaden Smith, celebrating
his eighth birthday, was upstaged, as the baby socialite
appeared in "public" for the first time. Until now,
Suri Cruise had only managed to been visited by world-famous
footballer David
Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria
Beckham, as well as Cruise's former girlfriend, Penelope
Cruz, and King of Queens star Leah
Remini.
British tabloid, The
Sun managed some quotes from an inside source.
Their source said "Suri is a beautiful baby with
no deformities that I could see. She has gorgeous dark,
curly hair and looks like Tom."
27 year old Katie Holmes, star of such movies as Batman
Begins, Thank You For Smoking and the TV series Dawson's
Creek, has been taking time out of the public eye since
having the couple's first child, Suri, back on April
18th. Holmes, once a devout Catholic, has converted
to Cruise's religion of Scientology. While Katie Holmes
is planning on going back to work, it's not known if
that will happen before or after the couple's
marriage.
Tom Cruise, on the other hand, is a devout Scientologist,
advocating the religion's benefits, and has converted
his fiancée to the religion. Cruise, who has been the
star of many previous Hollywood blockbusters, including
War of the Worlds, Minority Report, Collateral, Jerry
Maguire, War of the Worlds, The Last Samurai, Rain Man,
Top Gun, A Few Good Men, Top Gun, Days of Thunder and
the Mission: Impossible trilogy, has been married twice
before, to Mimi Rogers (Lost in Space, Austin Powers:
International Man of Mystery) and Nicole Kidman (Cold
Mountain, The Interpreter). Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman
had adopted two children, Isabella and Connor, during
their marriage. Cruise is also rumored to be going back
to work, playing Billy Fiske in the movie, The Few.
The Few is scheduled for release in 2008.
