Last month, Miami Vice star, Colin Farrell was confronted on The Tonight Show by his very first stalker, Dessarae Bradford. On Monday, the actor was granted a three year restraining order against Bradford in a Los Angeles Superior Court.

With celebrity comes the possibility of stalkers and now Colin Farrell can join the ranks of the rich and famous with his own obsessed fan. Following his run-in with Dessarae Bradford on the set of The Tonight Show last month, Farrell was granted a temporary restraining order. According to BBC, Colin Farrell obtained a three year restraining order against Bradford on Monday, which stipulates that she must remain at least 150 yards from the actor, his son, James and the child’s mother, Kim Bordenave.

Like most celebrity stalkers, Colin Farrell claims never to have met Dessarae Bradford, but she seems to think that Farrell is the one stalking her. Since 2004, Bradford has filed suits against the star claiming that he sent her e-mails and phone calls harassing her. All of her claims have failed to materialize any settlements. On the other side of this case, Colin Farrell defended his actions and had said in his court complaint, ”Ms. Bradford filed numerous harassing lawsuits against me and left threatening voicemails for my attorney. She also accosted me at The Tonight Show July 20, 2006, throwing books into my lap,” E Online reports.

Even though Colin Farrell was able to get an extended restraining order which will be in effect until August 2009, Bradford doesn’t seem daunted and will be heading back to the courts again in an effort to have the ruling overturned. People reports that, in a statement to the Associated Press, Bradford gave a clear sign that this fight was far from over and plans on asking the court to set aside the restraining order.

Colin Farrell, the thirty year-old Irish actor has seen his star rise this decade, breaking through in 2000's Tigerland and going on to star in Minority Report, The Recruit, Daredevil, S.W.A.T., Alexander, and last year's The New World. After Miami Vice, Colin Farrell will be seen in Pride and Glory with Edward Norton and Woody Allen's next film with Ewan McGregor.
