Britney's Baby: Sutton Pierce Federline

 

Pop singer Britney Spears and her rapper husband Kevin Federline have chosen a name for the newborn baby. The Federline family's new addition is named Sutton Pierce Federline, which gives him the same initials as his older brother, Sean Preston Federline.

 

Sutton Pierce, the couple's second son, was born on Tuesday, September 12 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Sutton's older brother, Sean Preston, turned 1 on Thursday, September 14. To add to the happy family's busy September, September 18th is Britney and Kevin's second wedding anniversary.

 

Following the birth of Sutton Pierce Federline, the proud father, Kevin Federline, told Life & Style magazine that "Mom and baby are doing well, thanks, but we're all really tired." While no details of the birth have been confirmed, it has been reported that Sutton Pierce was delivered by Caesarian section, and was born weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

 

What's in a name? As E Online points out, baby names all have symbolic meanings, and Sutton Pierce is no different. "According to various baby-name Websites, Sutton is a name of English origin used for both boys and girls, and meaning 'the town to the South.'"

 

With the birth of Britney Spears' second child, her website is undergoing a change. Instead of the fully functioning website it has been, BritneySpears.com now features a picture of Britney fading into a picture of a tiger, with the words "Stay tuned! Britney's new website is in the works…" across the top.

 

With all the hubbub surrounding Britney Spears' second child with Kevin Federline, there has been no official confirmation of the birth, the Caesarian section or the name. However, both People and PerezHilton have reported Sutton Pierce's name.

 

As for Britney's plan to get back in shape, Australia's NW Magazine has reported Spears ducked in for a tummy tuck following the delivery of Sutton Pierce. As The Bosh dishes, "Abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck" is a cosmetic surgery procedure to reshape and firm the abdomen. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle of the abdominal wall. This type of surgery is usually sought by women after having children. Sources spilling to NW, say Britney is so desperate to have her old body, she couldn't wait for the weight to drop with exercise"

 

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married on September 18th, 2004. They had their first child together, Sean Preston Federline, on September 14th, 2005. On May 10th, 2006, Britney Spears is the best-selling female artist of the 2000s, having sold 85 million albums. Her first two albums, Baby, One More Time and Oops! I Did It Again were both diamond-selling albums, meaning they sold more than 10 million copies in the United States. Britney's albums include Baby, One More Time, Oops! I Did It Again, Britney, In The Zone, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative and has appeared in movies such as The New Mickey Mouse Club, Crossroads and In The Pink. Britney is also expected to release a new album in November 2006, but if the latest news surrounding the birth of her second child turn out to be true, this probably won't happen until 2007.
