Ben Kingsley gives another great performance in the tragically under-seen You Kill Me, a unique comedy/action movie that also features some of the best recent work by Luke Wilson, Tea Leoni, and Bill Pullman. Kingsley stars as Frank, an alcoholic hitman who's sent to AA after botching a crucial hit when he drunkenly slept through it. Exiled to the other side of the country, Frank finds love and himself before returning to what he really does best - killing people.

Director John Dahl (Red Rock West, The Last Seduction) joins co-writers Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely on an audio commentary on their film. Dahl is one of the most well-spoken directors in Hollywood and it's great to hear him dissect his movie with the guys that wrote it. It's just a shame more people didn't see it.

"Before & After Visual Effects Comparison". That's cool for a movie like The Transformers or a Harry Potter movie, but, as you might imagine, You Kill Me isn't exactly heavy on special effects and the inclusion of a featurette about it seems a little misplaced.

Reminiscent of Get Shorty and Grosse Pointe Blank, You Kill Me isn't a perfect film, but it's an enjoyable comedy with great performances and it deserved a much better fate than it got in theaters this summer. It's the kind of movie that could easily find a life on DVD (if shoppers get past the awful cover). Give Kingsley, Leoni, and Dahl a chance to kill you.
