Calle 13 Sets Latin Grammy Record

Calle 13 set new records at the Latin Grammys this week at the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas after the Latin duo won nine awards.

According to Reuters, the Latin duo Calle 13 dominated the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards after Rene Perez and Eduardo Cabra Martínez took home nine awards, including album of the year for Entren Los Que Quieran.

Calle 13 set a record for the most Latin Grammy wins in a career with 19 plus the most Latin Grammy wins in one night.

Calle 13 picked up awards in the categories of Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album, Best Urban Song, Best Tropical Song, Best Alternative Song, Producer of the Year, and Best Short Form Music Video.
